Desecration
Our net server has been behaving very unpredictably for the last one week or so. Sometimes it so happens that you enter your userid and password and lo! someone else's inbox/account opens up in front of you! I dont know what has gone wrong at the systems front, but my poor blog became a victim of the issue: someone who must have got really frustrated after seeing my blogger dashboard popping up instead of his/hers even after multiple attempts, decided to mutilate it. Just take a look at the last post, and you can see that some sentences are missing in the first few lines. I don't exactly remember what I had written, and I don't want to recreate it anyway. Let it stay the way it is.
To that person who has done it-if at all (s)he cares to have a look at this place again: If you think you did something great, shame on you...

me is dhanya! me coming here for the first time. me came thru poornima. me was wondering...why hindustani...stuck a star on me's eyebrow...still shimmering...thought will drop in and see...me read only first post! me feels sorry! me going to read the rest according to me's project manager's moodswings. me's pm will give work now :( anyways me begins reading!
me...dhanya
#Dhanya: Thanks for dropping in :)
Hindustani. I'm head-over-heels in love with it. I like its flow, I like its constant proximity with the elements of the nature, I like the moods it conveys...Many more reasons...
:) me here. "many more reasons..??" maybe a journo's inquisitiveness pokes me a little when i hear that. but yes...hindustani...malhar, ahir bhairav...the very thought fills veins with pain, grief and then a silent note that calms down the self...it is like tides in an ocean. :)> feels good to be talking about. i miss the days when music used to be present everyday, every minute...life has changed, or maybe not so much thta me cannot bring it back, right? never like that you cannot bring back lost days right???
me bored you? hope not! catchya later!
don't blame the guy who deleted some lines off a post. he could've done much worse [like clicking Delete Blog]. blame ur stupid net server instead. talk abt screwed up internet security. makes one lose any semblance of respect..
Journo? Where do you work?
Yeah, many more reasons :) Some of it being: it takes me to a different time and place and mood-something that Carnatic can never do with the same intensity, it brings up emotions that lie hidden deep inside...
Its never too late to bring the good times back. Never.
Its never too late to bring the good times back. Never.
Sorry, but I'm sure you'll take those words back before long. ;)
#Kuts: The person could've done much worse things, I agree. That doesn't mean that what he has done is justifiable. Even I was redirected to someone else's login for 3-4 days. What point did s(he) prove by deleting a few lines off my blog? It just shows the poor attitude.
#Kuts: I get the pun intended ;) Fate, I bow to thee...
Maybe s(he) thought your post looks better sans those lines, u know, aesthetics..., yeah, be grateful u still have a blog. Imagine what would have happened if I had got into your dashboard! ;-)
:) me here! no disclosures abt the self. i prefer that! btw u play the mrudangam? i heard so from a cuckoo who flew over by my nest! :)
oops i accidently pressed the submit button.
Kuts# Hi there! the article on CAT was good. I wonder why all techie engineers i know and have come across, write well and have that flair for it...amazingly well. u, clash, chandra...maybe it is the air in trichy??? :) then i missed it! :)
#Anon: I'd rather say I used to play mridangam. Its been ages since I touched it last...
Who could this be....???
u don't know me, so just stop thinking! i told u, i saw ur comment in poornima's blog, happened to see ur profile, then read the blogs, then realised that u r connected to the same circle as i am...so basically kept commenting and reading! that's all!
---Dhanya!
Fine, stopped thinking! :)
Good! :D
But Mrudangam is one of the most... (What word shoudl go here???) I just remember, the lost beats of a mrudangam and when now, malhar sweeps down the veins...I am lost again...to my world of dance...
:( feel like bloggin!
#Dhanya: Do you dance? Which form? Is Malhar normally used on the background for dance? I doubt...
Mrudangam is one of the most... what?
There was this all night music festival in IIMB a couple of years back. Chaurasia, Bombay Jayashree, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Ravikiran... One the best experiences of my life...
dance...yes! again wud be better if i said "used to..". I studied Bharathanatyam. under Shyamala Surendran in Cochin. {www.shyamaladharani.com} and NO NO Malhar is not used for any dance form. but not that cannot be used in future. it is something like, as long there is a melody, a beat and the rhythm that flows in the soul of a dancer, she really can do wonders! and next time, you have something like that music fest coming, just call me also, i will be the first one to come along.
now, due to external influences and the kind of group i am in, i listen to everything, floyd, coldplay, gorillaz...but a second i get to myself, i go back to my melodies and ragas...that world means life to me. when i had it i never thought of mastering, and when i lost it, i miss it...so now, the hangover of a lost dream hovers around me and i keep tellin myself, it is never too late!
:) @dhanya
#Dhanya: Yeah, dance and music can be made out of anything in the nature...
That was the first time I was getting such a great chance to experience so many different kinds of music in one go. When again, don't know. Will let you know for sure if I hear of one. Are you living in Bangalore?
I have my own tastes in music. It may sound weird to many, but I like it that way.
hey i guess the taste of music is the same everywhere! :) even i have weird choices. and weird sense for everything (as the communist puts it! :) and yes i am "struggling to live in b'lore".
and again...Congrats!
